The people and animals of the quiet coastal town of Midwich in California's Marin County fall asleep at a 10AM "blackout" and regain consciousness at 4PM. Following the blackout, ten women are mysteriously pregnant, including a virgin girl, as well as a married woman who has not been sexually active for a year. None of the women seek abortions after having dreams, and all the babies are born the same night in a barn – five boys and five girls, though one girl is stillborn. The surviving children are healthy but have pale skin, white-blonde hair, cobalt eyes, and fierce intellect.

The elderly man turns out to be Hjörtur, a thousand years old, single and homosexual vampire. A friendship is formed between them and Hjörtur repays Hulda the favor by returning her brother to life with terrible consequences. At the same time they are against the aggression of a cult and the police who seem to be obsessed with them.

Dus, eindelijk een excuus om op het plein eens niet naar die gure vent te hoeven luisteren met het necromantiek 2 shirt aan die wederom een betoog houdt over god weet waarover want is er überhaupt iemand op het plein geweest die ooit luistert naar dat soort mensen?

The best film festival from the north of the country is coming back to BUT with the Cinematig Crack Cinema Program (CCCP). Pure and unadulterated. This time the misery will settle on the square of BUT. Nice and close to the bar, which is more than necessary in this case!

So, finally an excuse not to have to listen to that nasty guy in the square with the necromantic 2 shirt who again makes an argument about god knows what because has anyone in the square ever listened to those kinds of people?

A montage of documentary footage depicts the effect of war on children. The film cuts from this mondo imagery to the story of English couple Tom and Evelyn (Lewis Fiander and Prunella Ransome), who are taking a vacation before the birth of their third child.
