Het BUT Film Festival (B-film, Underground en Trash) in BREDA staat weer in de startblokken! Dit jaar van 2 tot 6 september. Vorig jaar met de 14 e editie gingen we eruit met ‘een bang’, Lik De kikker heeft nogal vrij ver zijn sporen achtergelaten Vanaf dan waren we echt overtuigd dat er een spetterende 15e verjaardagseditie zou volgen. Wie had ooit kunnen denken dat er een of ander virus stokken in de wielen zou steken? Niemand.

KOP organiseert jaarlijks de Speeddate, een netwerkactiviteit waarbij verschillende kunstinitiatieven en (jonge) kunstenaars kennis met elkaar maken en hier eventueel een samenwerking uit halen. We zijn dit jaar voor de derde keer te gast bij het BUT Film Festival in Breda! Wij zouden je graag aan het Speeddate-team toevoegen.

BUTFF: 15 years of doing things differently!

Especially now, because the BUTFF (B-movie, Underground & Trash Film Festival) is going ahead. From 2 to 6 September 2020 in the city centre of Breda, in De Nieuwe Veste (Centre of the Arts) and at Chassé Cinema. It’s not yet completely certain what this anniversary edition of the festival will look like exactly, but one thing is definitely certain: we are going to celebrate our 15th birthday.

We joined forces with our friends from Cinematig Film Festival from Leeuwarden to give you a streaming experience to never forget.
To lighten up the world a little bit in these times of pandemic and self quarantine we will be streaming a film through the CineBUT+ channel. From 3th of April 2020, every friday night a new CineBUT+ stream at 20:30h sharp.
You are welcome to join and comment (trough a Twitch account) at the channel from 20:00hrs.

Deadline for submitting films was 1 june 2020.

Our festival has an open call, we do not charge entry fee's.
You are welcome to submit shorts, documentaries and feature films. Please make sure they are suited for our festival and fit the categories.

Op de afgelopen BUTFF edities bleken er mensen op het plein rond te lopen waarmee we enigszins mee konden communiceren, maar alléé, met wat pintjes en goesting naar BUT-films kom je al een heel eind met die Belgen!

En daarom organiseren wij, in samenwerking met het filmhuis Klappei te Antwerpen, de BUT-Klapper!

Doorlopend BUT-shorts. Dit zijn alle shorts van 2019. (korte films en animaties) van diverse regisseurs, eerder te zien tijdens het BUT FILM FESTIVAL.
