An extraterrestrial scout comes to Earth to warn humanity of the coming of a terrible danger. Soon after, a meteor shower containing an infectious parasite transforms the population of a small town in the Somme region of Picardy into rabid cannibals. From then on, a group of survivors as well as a humanoid alien monkey and bounty hunters try to survive by all means, even the most unexpected.
