Theodorus Zakkenwasscher Jr., born in the Alps of Switzerland, he saw the light of day in a chalet on the mountaintop Melancholiehorn. Snowed in with his mother for a couple of months, Zakkenwasscher jr. nearly did not survive the first months of his life, luckily the basement was filled with gruyère cheese. His mother fed him with the gruyère cheese from the basement and they hydrated themselves with the snow from the mountain Melancholiehorn. After this traumatizing event Zakkenwasscher never ate a piece of gruyère again. By some miracle an American cowboy who was travelling through the Alps saved them from the snowed in chalet, by horse and carriage they travelled to the city Droefdorp in the Netherlands. Now based in Droefdorp, Zakkenwasscher jr. is an established name in the art scene. His art encompasses universal themes of life, love and death, among other urgent matters. Zakkenwasscher Jr. always hits the nail right on its head with a healthy dose of humor.
