Roberta is a teenager with a strange malformation on her face that prevents her from fending for herself. Or at least that’s what her father, a retired, rather conservative surgeon who takes care of her, has made her believe. He creates a world within his home, making the girl believe that there are no normal people, only people with the same problem. He goes to extreme, bloody, lengths to ‘make’ some ‘friends’ for his daughter.
