A man rescues a boy and later tries to get him off his back but to little avail, so they end up drifting around a subterranean world, populated by grotesque masked figures. A hundred years after Chaplin filmed his first feature film, The Kid, Norbert Pfaffenbichler offers an experimental punk-style interpretation, which the filmmaker himself has defined as a dystopian slapstick film.

Theodorus Zakkenwasscher Jr., born in the Alps of Switzerland, he saw the light of day in a chalet on the mountaintop Melancholiehorn. Snowed in with his mother for a couple of months, Zakkenwasscher jr. nearly did not survive the first months of his life, luckily the basement was filled with gruyère cheese. His mother fed him with the gruyère cheese from the basement and they hydrated themselves with the snow from the mountain Melancholiehorn. After this traumatizing event Zakkenwasscher never ate a piece of gruyère again.

The Order of the Angels, residing in an ominous countryside cloister, are charged with a dark and secret duty. Sister Jodie arrives to find the order in the midst of turmoil: the nuns are hearing strange sounds in the middle of the night and one of their number has gone missing. As the sisters begin to experience cases of demonic possession, it is up to Jodie and her new friend, Sister Salka to discover the source of these unnatural occurrences…even if it means staring into the very face of hell.

Der Orden der Engel, der in einem unheilvollen Kloster auf dem Land residiert, wird mit einer dunklen und geheimen Aufgabe beauftragt.  Schwester Jodie trifft ein, um den Orden inmitten des Aufruhrs zu finden: Die Nonnen hören mitten in der Nacht seltsame Geräusche und eine von ihnen ist verschwunden.  Als die Schwestern beginnen, Fälle von dämonischer Besessenheit zu erleben, liegt es an Jodie und ihrer neuen Freundin, Schwester Salka, die Ursache dieser unnatürlichen Vorkommnisse herauszufinden ... selbst wenn sie dafür mitten in die Hölle blicken müssen.
