Theodorus Zakkenwasscher Jr

Theodorus Zakkenwasscher Jr., born in the Alps of Switzerland, he saw the light of day in a chalet on the mountaintop Melancholiehorn. Snowed in with his mother for a couple of months, Zakkenwasscher jr. nearly did not survive the first months of his life, luckily the basement was filled with gruyère cheese. His mother fed him with the gruyère cheese from the basement and they hydrated themselves with the snow from the mountain Melancholiehorn. After this traumatizing event Zakkenwasscher never ate a piece of gruyère again.

Cell performance - Mike Anna

Celperformance Mike Anna

Mike Anna (2000) is a Dutch artist and performer. To muddle fact into fiction and vice versa, his practice takes elements from all sorts of knowledge traditions: the arts, academic studies, folklore wisdom, videogames and undefined spirituality. In muddling these distinct ways of 'knowing', their limits and intersections unfold in poetic gestures.  In his current work camping tents are front and centre as portable shields, houses or membranes that make the unbridgeable separation between performer and observer visible.
