Rehearsals for a Utopia

I have conceived this film as a form of visual poetry regarding the initial phase of improvisations and rehearsals for the performance "Utopia", by Diana Niepce, a portuguese choreographer and dancer.
The images were captured during the first artistic residencies of the project, at Espaço do Tempo (Montemor-o-Novo), in December 2023 and January 2024.
This film is the final exercise of the Kino-Doc's Documentary Film Course that I have attended in 2023/24.
