For this year's edition of BUT Film Festival - SWEET SICK TEENS, Xenia will develop a new live performance. Based on the main topic of this year's edition, Perek is prepping her characters for rite du passage, golden trans-galactic gate, last olympic sprint or final judgment day.
A dose of visually sweet and situationally sick dramatic evolution, brought in a forever Teen spirit.

Xenia Perek (1993 PL-NL) is een performance kunstenares woonachtig in Amsterdam. Perek creëert zowel fysieke als mentale scores die hun grondslag vinden in het nachtleven, alsmede in de nacht in het algemeen. Het sensorische beeld is inhoud, evenals middel voor haar narratieven.
Zodoende centreren haar performances rondom het lichamelijke en gerelateerde opbouwende momentums welke ook afgezonderd van het geheel gezien kunnen worden – nagenoeg refererend aan het stilstaand beeld van fotografie.

Lisa Chudalla is a professional circus and performance artist based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands' only sword swallower, staple gun couturier, taxidermy manipulator and notorious ButFF performer repeater.
